Our dedicated teams continue to work tirelessly to ensure the sustainability, safety and biodiversity of this beautiful protected area.
🤝The #EnAble Project (led by the CESC – Livaningo consortium CISU – Civilsamfund i Udvikling) distributed financial payments and resources to 6 local Natural Resource Management Committees – Comités de Gestão de Recursos Naturais (CGRNs) in Pebane District to promote local livelihoods and reduce emissions. In addition to funding, the committees received vital agricultural and management tools;
The Department of Law Enforcement (LED) has effectively hit critical points in the park’s 2,861 km² protected area over the past two months;
🐾Improved fuel allocation and vehicle availability have allowed GNAP teams to move deeper into the park, leading to a huge increase in biodiversity tracking. A total of 388 wildlife observations were recorded.
…And much more!
Thank you for your continued support!
